About Us
Since 1996, the Charles River Community Partnership for Children (CRCPC) has been committed to ensuring that every child in our community has access to high quality early education and care. Serving the children and families in Dover, Medfield, Medway, Millis and Sherborn, the CRCPC works with families, caregivers and early education professionals to ensure that quality experiences form the foundation for young learners in our community from birth to school age.
The Charles River Community Partnership for Children is funded by the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) grant from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.

Our goals are simple:

0. Increase knowledge of and accessibility to high quality early education and care programs and services for families with children prenatal through school-age.
0. Promote family education, engagement and literacy.
0. Facilitate collaboration and community planning between local early education and care partners and other community stake holders or partners.
0. Provide support and information for families with children transitioning between and among early education and care setting, home and school.
0. Support early education and care programs across the public and private sectors in delivering high quality services.

In addition, we also hold a Program and Practitioner Supports (PPS) grant, which charges us to support programs on their quest for national accreditation and rating on the Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS), as well as support their staff toward degrees in education.

Council
The Charles River Community Partnership for Children convenes a council of interested parties monthly from September through June.

We are always looking for new members!  Please come and try out a meeting if you:

• are a parent or grandparent of a young child
• operate an early childhood business
• operate a business interested in supporting early education and care
• are a member of a health care organization
• represent social service agency
• represent a family networking community
• are just interested in being part of developing a system of high quality early education and care here in our community
