Early Childhood Resource Center at the Norfolk Public Library

The Early Childhood Resource Center is funded by the Massachusetts Dept. of Early Education and Care and is housed at the Norfolk Public Library.  This center contains a wide variety of materials, services, and programs for teachers, administrators, students, child care providers, and parents who work with young children. Professional resource books, parenting books, videos & dvds, teaching curriculum kits, themed picture books, big books, and many other items are available for borrowing at no charge.

Early Intervention

Early Intervention in Massachusettsis a statewide, integrated, developmental
service available to families of children between birth and three years of age.
Children may be eligible for EI if they have developmental difficulties due to
identified disabilities, or if typical development is at risk due to certain birth or
environmental circumstances. Contact Family Ties of MA for more information at

Family TIES of MA - Family TIES provides parent-to-parent support, information and referral services, and workshops to ensure that parents feel confident in caring for their children with special needs.  Family TIES also handles all Early Intervention referrals.
